1. The Service of CyLawCom Certification is provided by Cyber Society of
India for its members. Hence intending Cyber Cafes/Web Publishers need to be
CySi members. Students of Cyber Law College who obtain membership through
the Co-Certification plan are also eligible members of CySi.
2. The audit would be conducted by CyLawCom Examiners of Cyber Law College
and based on its report the Certification would be provided by CySi.
3. A Request for CyLawCom audit has to be sent to the coordinator
naavi@vsnl.com through e-mail indicating
the Name, Address, and Telephone number and number of computers in the Cyber
Cafe/URL.
4. A registration form with the fees required to be paid will then be sent
to the member.
5. Upon receipt of the payment, the audit process will commence. In case of
web publishers, audit process will be virtual.
6. The implementation and Certification process will consist of Level 1 and
Level 2.
7. Level 1 of implementation consists of attainment of benchmark level of
Cyber Law Awareness as assessed by CyLawCom examiners of Cyber Law College.
8.Level 2 of implementation consists of attainment of benchmark level of
Cyber Law Compliance measures undertaken by the member as audited and
reported by the CyLawCom examiners of Cyber Law College.
9. A Certificate will be issued on satisfactory completion of Level 2
Certification process. The Certificate would state "CySi Certified E-Bridge
Center" which may be displayed on the premises of the Cyber Cafe. In the
case of Web publishers, the Certificate would state ""CySi Certified
CyLawCom Web publisher"
10. It must be remembered that this is a voluntary certification programme
undertaken by the Cyber Cafe owner/Web Publisher under the guidance of a
voluntary organization such as CySi and does not provide any legal immunity.
It is meant only to adhere to certain minimum standards of Cyber Law
Compliance and to display good faith and desire to be a responsible Cyber
Cafe/Web publishing.
