In a decisive move to expand the scope of his activities, Naavi has
now joined hands with Deltagram, a Company based in Chennai which is in
the process of creating a Communication network in India and carry various
Communication enabled products and services.
Deltagram has already set up an all India V-Sat based network and has
commenced trial operations. 65 of the 250 earth stations planned by the
Company to cover the country are already in place and the network of channel
partners to take this network to the people is being created. This network
being called Delta Digital Post Offices will eventually enable a host of
services to be available to the population accessible on telephone and
computers. One of the main services that the Company will offer is the
transmission of Messages in digital form.
Deltagram has also chalked out several services to the Government sector
through its exclusive division for E-Governance services and hopes to make
the telecom revolution reach grass root levels in the form of some
useful services.
