Cyber Crime Complaints and Resolution Assistance Center (CCCRAC)

Naavi.org has received the following complaint from a Mr Sachin Adhikari, alleging cheating by the website www.eu-wow-mart.com.

[P.S: In order to build a repository of Cyber Complaints, Naavi.org has decided to document complaints such as these. It is envisaged that as an NGO, Naavi.org may contribute to the resolution of such disputes in some cases. The objective of this effort is to provide some basic guideline to a complainant on how to proceed with the resolution of the problem and enable him contact the appropriate Cybe Crime police officer.

It is hereby declared that Naavi.org does not under take any investigation regarding complaints received and does not warranty genuineness of the complaint. In cases where the accused is identified through an e-mail address, a copy of the complaint will be sent to him for his comments and his/her reply will be posted on the website.

Naavi.org reserves the right to reject documentation of any complaint or to remove a complaint already documented. This service is a free public service and has no relation to any other service provided by Naavi or his associates.

We would invite public spirited Cyber Law Aware advocates in different cities to associate with this "Cyber Crime Resolution Assistance Center" and help in the cause.

We also invite Women NGOs to associate with assistance regarding pursuance of Women related Cyber Crimes and Child Welfare NGOs to associate for assistance regarding pursuance of Children related Cyber Crimes... Naavi]

Complaint Received by e-mail on 13th September 2007: (Reply from the accused called for and awaited)

I am Sachin Adhikari citizen of Noida. I selected an item through website and it was a sports bike.

I got conversation with that guy named Xiongishying, and he asked to send the money thrugh Bqank account

He holds a acocuntr in Bank of China.He provided me the id proof and all. After he receioved the whole amount he provided the tracking number of EMS.

I chkd and waited till 10 september as per his order.But after 10 when I had not received the bike, I investigated the matter by other id.I spoked that person again with my feyonce id.When i said that I am interested in this item which is posted in website, he asked me to send the item code via mail and send money via bank account.

I said, give me his proof id and all He said that I am female and all. and privded a female id proof.

I am cheated withj this persona nd lost nearabout 1 laks of Indian currency.

I got a every single and necessary documents and conversation .., done with this person.got every bank acocunt and written evidences.

Please do assist me in this regard and sue this person after investigating the case.
